South India is home to a myriad of magnificent temples that are rich in architecture and showcase intriguing history. Two such temples are Guruvayur Temple and Vadakkumnathan Temple, attracting numerous pilgrims and two of the most desired places to visit in Thrissur. Guruvayur Temple is dedicated to Lord Guruvayurrappa, a form of the revered Hindu deity Vishnu, while Vadakkumnathan Temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.
