We are looking for a candidate for the position of “Assistant Manager – Finance” to undertake and assist in the day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, audit, cost control and development of internal control policies and procedures.
Job Description:
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Support month-end, and year-end close processes in co ordination with the units controllers
• Preparation of monthly/Quarterly/Yearly financial statements and MIS reports
• Should have exposure in handling the Statutory Audit and Tax Audit independently
• Exposure in the preparation of financials under Ind AS is mandatory
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control systems
• Research technical accounting issues for better compliance
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Collaborate closely with the different units to understand expectations and deliverable timelines and ensure that deliverables are met on time
• Develop the team to take ownership and work independently, and effectively manage timelines
• Manage resources to assist with ad-hoc reports and new processes to support the management team
• Should be highly proficient in managing the closing of books of accounts under tight deadlines
Experience and Qualifications
- Should have completed CA inter and appeared for CA final exams
- 3-4 years of progressive corporate experience is required after the article ship. Experience in the hospitality sector would be an added advantage
